Kiwi is a rich source of soluble dietary fiber (3.8 g per 100 g of fruit OR 10% of RDA), which makes it a good bulk laxative. It's fiber content helps protect the colon mucous membrane by decreasing exposure time to toxins as well as binding to cancer causing chemicals in the colon.
Personal: So its a good laxative, that explains my experience of eating two kiwis at once in the morning, and my CR visit was frequent. And after it, i feel so light. Being a fan of teas as laxative, now i have a more natural and healthier plus safer option, i wont be needing those teas anymore. I have kiwis already!

- Kiwis are rich in antioxidant Vitamin C, which help develop resistance against infections.
- A rich source of heart healthy electrolyte called potassium, it controls heart rate and blood pressure, by countering the effects of sodium(salt).
